Original drawings by Johann Melchior Fussli (1677 – 1736) and Johann Daniel Preissler (1666 – 1736), the compositions are by Fussli and borders by Preissler. Included are two original drawings in red chalk, pen and brown ink with a gray wash inscribed “TAB. CCCCLXV” and “TAB. CCXVIII” along with two first impression engravings by P.G. Harder and M. Tyroff for John Jacob Scheucher, Physica Sacra, Augsburg, 1731-5.

Purchased at auction from Christie's London in 1991 by a private collector.
